Target Audience Feedback on Video and Digipak
3) What have you learnt from audience feedback?
The lip-syncing problem could partially be due to a lack of enthusiasm from the band - possibly due to the fact that the song was not the bands own and they may not have been keen of song choice. However enthusiasm may not be the sole cause of lip syncing as we could have practiced particular lines to over-emphasize their lip movements before hand a bit more so that it would look clearer on screen.

Another comment that was made, from mohammed is that although the video conveyed the message and he could tell it was a folk video, in terms of setting it didn't really link too well and suggested that maybe we use a farm setting instead which would be more reminiscent of the genre. Although I can see where he is coming from, i believe that this would be a convention that is generally attached to the more known and traditional folk genre, but not reminiscent of more modern material that our target audience would associate with.
Kozi:
(0:00 - 0:47 relates to below comment)
Although we were aiming for a black and white filter, Kozi had mentioned that although the shots were good they could do with a bit more lighting. I think that I would agree with this having looked back at the video to the point in which the band where sitting under the tree and on the porch where lighting was poorer.
This could be due to the shady location and we could have avoided this better by pre-testing use of lighting and location - which is something we would do if we were to film again. As an alternative to using portable lights we edited it during the post-production process.
Despite some of the comments above, i think that convention wise, we did a good job of conveying the themes and idea of war and fighting for your country through the soldier preparing to go to war at home.
Gabrielle:
(0:30 onwards relates to below comment)
One thing that gabrielle had mentioned was that the way the clips had been ordered created a good build up to the end with the guns shooting. (2:10) She had also mentioned that due to the fact that the band members weren't shown that much in the video and only in close ups gave the feel that they are humble and more to do with the music which makes you listen to the lyrics and its meaning. This is a key and important factor to our music video so Im glad that we had achieved this and our audience had picked up on it.
(6:24 onwards relates to comment on unification)
Having listened to Vinothni and Sabira its clear that the iconic ship and font color has worked well in unifiying the three products together which is key to the success of the band.
The audience feedback has been really interesting as its always good to get a different point of view in order to know what to improve for next time.

5161 Evaluation - Hanan Mohamed: FOR KING & COUNTRY - JAMIE THORN & THE MYSTERY PAC...
NOTE: unfortunately while uploading the video we ran into issues, but it should considered at an end by 3.30 - the extra will be removed once we have access to the iMovie file. Also much quality was lost in uploading, partially due to youtube and also because saving a full quality video took far too long on the school internet to upload, and kept stopping. This will be tried again when we go back to school on Monday.
